1. Files Never Leave Your Browser

tweakmyfile.com is engineered so that we cannot see, receive, store, or transmit your photos or documents. When you select or drop a file into any tool on this site, the file is read directly into your browser's local memory and processed locally using HTML5 Canvas and Web Workers on your own device.

Zero bytes of your input files or generated output files are ever uploaded to tweakmyfile.com or any external server. Once you close or refresh the browser tab, local memory buffers and temporary object URLs are released automatically by your browser.

2. Independent Technical Verification

You do not have to take our word for this policy:

• Every page includes a live telemetry badge backed by the browser's built-in PerformanceObserver API and outbound request byte monitoring.
• You can open your browser's Developer Tools Network panel while processing a photo, or disconnect from Wi-Fi / cellular data after loading the page, and confirm that tool execution completes with zero file network traffic.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

tweakmyfile.com does not set tracking cookies, user accounts, or cross-site identifiers. Basic infrastructure delivery through Cloudflare serves static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript assets over encrypted HTTPS and processes standard transient network request metadata (such as IP address and HTTP user-agent headers) solely to deliver web pages and defend against automated abuse.

Traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, uses no client-side identifiers or fingerprinting, and records only aggregate page-view metrics such as page URL, referrer, country, browser type, and load timings. The small analytics beacon contains no file data and is the only request the zero-upload badge does not count.

4. Metadata Stripping in Output Files

Camera portraits routinely contain embedded EXIF and XMP metadata such as GPS coordinates, capture timestamps, and device identifiers. Our photo tools strip embedded metadata segments when generating clean output files so you do not inadvertently submit unnecessary location data to third-party portals.

5. External Government Links

Specification tables link to official public government documentation (such as travel.state.gov) so you can verify requirements directly against primary sources. Visiting an external domain is governed by that agency's own privacy notice.
